Daniel Kraemer
USAF/Muay Thai and MMA
Dan Kraemer founded Project Chaos MMA with one mission: helping veterans heal through MMA. Built from firsthand understanding of the battles many veterans continue to fight long after coming home, Project Chaos was created to provide purpose, structure, brotherhood, and a path forward through training and community. Dan’s passion for this mission is deeply personal. Like many veterans, he understands that some battles do not end when the uniform comes off. The effects of trauma, stress, and the weight of experiences carried after service can follow people long after they return home. Through his own healing journey, he discovered that movement, discipline, and the brotherhood found on the mats created something powerful — an outlet that challenged both body and mind while rebuilding confidence, focus, and purpose. Martial arts became more than learning techniques or preparing for competition; it became a place where pain could be redirected into growth, frustration into discipline, and struggle into strength. The lessons learned through training — perseverance, humility, resilience, and showing up even on difficult days — became lessons that carried into everyday life. Project Chaos MMA was born from the belief that no veteran should have to fight their battles alone. Dan’s goal is to create a community where veterans and service members can find support, accountability, purpose, and a family that stands beside them both on and off the mats.
Trevor Albert
Peer/BJJ
Trevor Albert may not be a veteran, but he strongly believes in and supports the mission of Project Chaos MMA and the work being done to help veterans heal through training, brotherhood, and community. He represents an important part of what makes Project Chaos special — the understanding that support for those who served can come from those willing to stand beside them and become part of the mission. Through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Trevor rekindled his love of wrestling and rediscovered the competitive drive and passion that had always been part of him. What started as stepping onto the mats became much more — bringing back the camaraderie, discipline, and challenge that come with pushing yourself and growing alongside a team. Training through BJJ has given Trevor an opportunity to continue evolving physically and mentally while becoming part of something bigger than himself. His journey is proof that Project Chaos is built not only by those who served, but also by those committed to standing shoulder to shoulder with them.
Xzavier Bartlett
US Army/Muay Thai and MMA
Xzavier Bartlett is an US Army member and proud member of the Project Chaos MMA family. For him, Project Chaos represents more than training — it represents camaraderie, purpose, and the opportunity to continue serving alongside people who understand the value of brotherhood and resilience. Through martial arts, he proudly represents fellow veterans and service members while continuing to live by the values that military service instills.
Martial arts has played a major role in shaping Xzavier into a stronger and more complete person physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. The challenges of training constantly push him beyond his comfort zone while reinforcing humility, self-control, discipline, and perseverance. Beyond competition and skill development, martial arts has become a positive outlet — helping channel pain and trauma into growth, purpose, and the pursuit of continuous self-improvement.
Alex Carr
US Army/Grappler and Power-lifting
Alex Carr is a U.S. Army Sergeant, police officer, and dedicated member of the Project Chaos MMA family. Through both military service and law enforcement, Alex has spent his life serving others and standing on the front lines. Like many who dedicate themselves to serving, the weight of that responsibility can create challenges that are often carried quietly. During a difficult period in his life, Project Chaos opened the door for Alex to begin competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and gave him something he needed at exactly the right time — purpose, direction, and the feeling of being part of a team again. What began as an opportunity to compete quickly became a path toward rebuilding strength both physically and mentally. Through years of hard work, consistency, and determination, Alex has transformed himself into the strongest version of himself both mentally and physically. His competitive journey has since evolved into powerlifting, where he now competes in the USAPL and recently earned qualification for the Northeast Regionals — a testament to the work, discipline, and commitment he brings every day. Today, Project Chaos continues to support Alex as he refines his training, performance, and nutrition strategies to maximize his potential and continue pushing toward the next level.
